Beast: The primal animal inside of the man. The beast is always hungry… he knows only instinct. Does he want to fight you or does he want to fuck you? That is the only question to be asked of the beast.

Godself: The higher part of the man… The cognizant soul that resides in the celestial plane where all knowledge is perfect. The Godself is eternal, unchanging… It is the divine that blends with the profane to create our existence.

Poet: Being a poet has very little to do with skill in rhyme and meter. It is about seeking the full spectrum of what is available to us as human beings. A poet opens his eyes to both beauty and pain equally because he knows that all of the emotions are our birthright. A poet despises the middle ground, detests numbness in all forms, and challenges himself to find the sublime in whatever is available.

Warrior: A warrior is not a man or a woman who pursues the art of war… A warrior is a person who adopts a state of mind and dedicates himself to living under a code of conduct. As Carlos Castaneda said, “We choose only once… To be warriors or ordinary people. A second choice does not exist.”

Warrior Poet:
A warrior poet is a force for balance in the universe. He embraces the yin and the yang… Has equal respect for war and for peace. The warrior poet lives by a code. The bushido way of ancient Japan, the Shambhala teachings of Tibet, the chivalrous knights of medievil Europe, and the ancient Greek warriors all lived by the ideal of the Warrior Poet.
The warrior-poet understands they embody the heavenly representation to the earth, and the earthly representation to the heavens. The warrior poet is a leader, not because he desires power but because he cannot help it. It is the solemn duty of the warrior poet to balance the cruel realities of the earth, while living by the standards of the heavens.
